Sex was ascended to the holy rank in all ancient cultures. For example, the Sumerian seal dating to 3500 B.C. depicts a couple having sex with one another at the altar of a church. Ancient Russian epics do not provide an explicit description of a sexual intercourse, but they have imagery descriptions full of erotic symbolism, for example, “You have a real treasure, and I would be glad to insert my pointed pick into your shaft of wood…” and “You are a beautiful meadow with sweet grass, and I would be happy to let myself relax in your clean meadow”.
It was believed that women were more sexual than men in old Russia and that “wives seduced husbands as idiots” (in marriage and outside of it).

She is intelligent with men, she can read their desire in their eyes and she never disappoints you”.
